Karina is a painter living and working in Poole, Dorset. She began her career as a teacher, after studying art and education at university in London. Pursuing her desire to create full time, she went on to study classical drawing at the Sarum Studio atelier in Salisbury, where she developed techniques used by the Old Masters. Karina went on to study at Newlyn School of Art, Cornwall, where she continued to develop her practice through exploring contemporary fine art. Karina’s works are an emotional response to the Dorset landscape, focusing on colour and atmosphere. She teaches painting workshops and her work is housed in prestigious private collections in New York, London, and throughout the UK.
